Licensed Practical Nurses

LPN's or Licensed Practical Nurses at this particular level work generally under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.  They collaborate with doctors and other health care staff in our organization.  They are proficient at basic wound care, fundamental IV infusions, IV care and insertion, urinary catheter care, various feeding methods, ostomy care, diabetic care and monitoring, medication administration, vital signs, oxygen monitoring / pulse ox, pain management, charting and inclusion in total care/case management.  An LPN works directly with patients. This close working relationship allows our LPN's to help the client deal with the medical condition that is being treated.  All of our nurses are Colorado licensed, CPR trained and competency tested.  In addition, we mandate monthly continuing education credits for all our staff.
